Rodney Mullen began Almost Skateboards in 2003. Many Almost deck designs make some subtle or not-so-subtle reference to American pop culture circa the late 1970's and the early 1980's. Whether you are in-tune with the Almost aesthetic or not, all their decks are now built with the ultra-strong new Resin-7 or Resin-8 deck constructions. This process utilises epoxy and resin to give the skateboards an unprecedented amount of strength, durability, and long-lasting pop.
